Safe Passage to Education
For countless children living in Nigeria’s coastal and riverine communities, the daily journey to school is a perilous one. Navigating treacherous waterways in overcrowded boats, often without the basic safety equipment of life jackets, exposes these young learners to unimaginable risks. This hazardous commute not only jeopardizes their lives but also hinders their ability to focus on their education.
We believe that every child deserves a safe and secure learning environment. Our organization is committed to ensuring that the pursuit of knowledge does not come at the cost of life. By providing life jackets to schools in vulnerable areas, we aim to mitigate the risks associated with water transportation and create a conducive learning environment.
Our recent donation of 50 life jackets to Nanti Primary School in Apapa is a testament to our dedication to this cause. We plan to expand this initiative to more schools in the near future, working towards a Nigeria where every child can access education without fear.
